With the ever increasing popularity of the MT09/FZ09 range of bikes there is always going to be components that are pushed past their limits as people explore what these bikes are capable of, one area that has shown up to be a possibe point of faliure is the standard cast aluminium clutch basket, factory components are built to cope with "normal riding" so whether you are hard street riding, track, stunt, drift or drag racing sometimes the factory clutch just isnt up to the task.
We saw the demand for an upgrade option & have developed this replacement basket, manufactured from the highest quality of super tough 7075 aluminium billet then anodized for additional wear resistance, we have worked hard to vastly improve the "weak point areas" of the basket without increasing the weight too much, in fact our billet basket weighs in less than 100gms above the original.
Our billet basket gets fitted to the factory drive gear, Sold as a fit yourself kit with full instructions or send us your OEM basket/gear assembly & will will fit it for you at no extra cost.
Once fitted to the drive gear there is no other modification necessary & can be fitted exactly like the OEM item.
This kit includes a Billet Basket, mounting bolts, loctite & detailed instructions.
