Kawasaki H2 Supercharger Upgrade Service
Mail‑in machining & high‑flow compressor upgrade for all H2 H2R H2SX & ZH2 models
This is a mail‑in upgrade service — you must send us your supercharger for modification.
Please read the full description before ordering.
Overview
We’ve been performing this supercharger upgrade for years, and we’re now making it available directly through our online store for convenience.
Kawasaki does not sell supercharger components separately; the only option is a complete replacement unit costing around USD $4,000. Our service upgrades your existing supercharger, giving you a significant performance increase without the cost of also purchasing full replacement unit.
What This Upgrade Is
All Kawasaki H2 models use the same basic supercharger featuring a 69 mm 6+6 compressor wheel. Our upgrade replaces this with a latest‑generation Garrett 78 mm 9‑blade wheel, delivering:
- Increased boost throughout the entire rev range
- 5–6 psi peak boost gain (depending on your ECU rev‑limit settings)
To fit the larger wheel, we machine the OEM compressor cover and housing. This machining must be performed on your supercharger — we do not offer exchange units.
Each unit is:
- Fully modified
- Thoroughly cleaned
- Precision balanced
- Professionally reassembled
Typical turnaround time is 2–4 weeks once your supercharger arrives. Return shipping is DHL Express only.
Important Considerations
This upgrade requires supporting modifications. The stock fuel system cannot keep up with the increased airflow.
We strongly recommend:
- Our upgraded fuel pump
- Our upper injector rail + injectors
- High‑octane race fuel or E85
- Complete ECU retuning
ECU Limit Note: The OEM ECU is limited to 30 psi maximum boost. With this upgrade — especially when combined with Stage 3 or higher supercharger gears — boost pressure can exceed 30 psi. In these cases, the stock ECU may not be suitable for tuning.
What You Need to Send
This is not a reconditioning service. Your supercharger must be in good working condition. We do not replace bearings.
We only require the front section of the supercharger. Sending just the front housing reduces shipping cost and risk.
How to Remove the Rear Section
- Remove the 4 × 6 mm Allen bolts
- Gently tap the rear housing with a rubber mallet
- The rear drive gear stays with the rear housing
- Do not lose the dowel pin or oil feed spigot — these remain with the rear housing
- Remove the large O‑ring from the front housing
- Store all parts you are not sending in a safe place; they are not available as separate replacement components
Packaging Requirements
Pack the front section securely in a sturdy box with foam or bubble wrap. We accept no responsibility for damage caused by poor packaging.
Send your supercharger using a trackable courier service. We do not accept responsibility for lost items.
