NEW DESIGN!
We have been developing & testing this new design for 2 years & are happy with it's performance in all applications.
The new design incorporates a number of new features with improved baffling & a trapdoor feature to help maintain oil in the pickup area during deceleration, an oil return pipe feeds from the engine oil return hose straight to the pickup area. We have also redesigned the pickup with a smoother profile for better oil flow & low restriction.
Especially good when used in conjuction with our upgraded oil pump
What is it & when do I need it ?
Our billet oil pan *sump* is CNC machined from billet aluminium, its a two piece design with a main pan & a smaller "deep" section that is bolted & sealed to the main pan with an O ring, perfect for anything from a street bike ,LSR (land speed racing) to drag bikes, this pan gives approximately 1.5" more ground clearance than the OEM pan although we've managed to get 900mL (30.4 fl oz) more capacity than the OEM one which can be very useful during sustained high speed running where oil starvation can become an issue, this extra capacity is partly due to the seperate bolt on lower piece & partly because of the deeper section at the rear of the pan, this space is normally occupied by the factory exhaust catalytic converter & muffler. The whole pan is far more robust than the OEM item & able to withstand a decent impact without cracking should you ground the pan accidentally.
The OEM exhaust system cannot be used with this oil pan.
Billet pickup
The pan cannot use the OEM plastic internal pickup so we have specially designed a billet two piece unit with an internal stainless steel mesh screen & pickup position optimised for consistent oil flow, this fits into the factory rubber engine grommet in the stock location.
Titanium magnetic drain plug
All our billet oil pans come with a Titanium magnetic drain plug that is already pre-drilled for lock wire.

Every billet oil pan comes with a new billet oil pickup, a new genuine OEM pan gasket, Magnetic titanium drain plug & crush washer, high tensile zinc plated mounting bolts & an installation instruction sheet.
