ABOUT THE KIT:

Yamaha R7 Complete Turbo Kit

Dyno‑proven 112 hp at 7.5 psi — capable of up to 160 hp, Higher boost levels require additional engine upgrades.

This R7 turbo system was designed to deliver smooth, responsive, and seriously addictive power while keeping cost and reliability front‑of‑mind. It’s not our highest‑output kit — but it is one of the most fun. With crisp throttle response, strong mid‑range torque, and a lightweight installation, the R7 becomes an absolute weapon on boost.

Base Kit Includes

• Modified GT15 turbo with 7.5 psi actuator

• Stainless turbine & compressor gaskets

• Fabricated air‑filter intake with K&N filter + pre‑filter

• Fabricated compressor outlet tube

• Stainless‑steel turbo headers with stainless turbo flange

• Stainless screamer pipe or universal 2" outlet for muffler fitment

• Braided oil feed line with check valve & fittings

• Oil scavenge pump, anodised fittings, return hoses & clamps

• Fabricated aluminium charge pipe with silicone hoses & clamps

• Billet‑machined & fabricated plenum, silicone hoses & clamps

• Turbosmart Kompact 25mm BOV

• Billet CNC machined fuel delivery system:

• 320LPH E85‑rated pump

• Rising‑rate regulator

• Fuel‑level sender mount

• Fuel‑pressure gauge

• OEM‑compatible fittings & wiring

• Fits the stock tank with no modification

• Base Tune file included — choose Woolich, FTECU or Power Commander base map (ECU part number required)

Performance & Technical Info

• 112 hp at 7.5 psi (approx +50 hp over stock unrestricted R7)

• 68 ft‑lb torque at 7000 rpm, still over 60 ft‑lb at 9500 rpm

• All testing performed on 98 RON (US 93 octane)

• Tuned by either a Power Commander, or flashed to stock ECU by either Woolich racing or FTECU 

• Removes 8.5 kg of factory parts, adds 7 kg — net 1 kg lighter

• Full kit can be installed in one day with basic tools by a competent person. 

• Completely plug‑and‑play — no cutting or welding required

Engine Reliability Notes

With proper maintenance, high‑octane fuel, and regular oil changes (every ~2500 km / 1600 miles), the turbocharged R7 can enjoy long service life. Boost above 7.5 psi requires upgraded connecting rods.

E85 Use

Ethanol fuel requires our injector upgrade — stock injectors do not flow enough for E85.

Final Tuning

If we do not install the kit, final dyno tuning is the customer’s responsibility to ensure correct fueling for your chosen fuel type.
