What is it & what parts can we supply.
Convert your Suzuki GSX1400 front end to Suzuki Hayabusa forks with this Extreme Creations front end conversion top triple clamp. This clamp makes the transformation from flimsy GSX1400 Right-Way-Up forks to the much better handling GSXR1300 Hayabusa Upside-Down forks a simple task.
Hayabusa forks are 80mm shorter than GSX1400 forks so this top clamp is a stepped down style to give the correct ride height.
Designed to work with the OEM Hayabusa bottom clamp you will need to press the GSX1400 stem into the Hayabusa bottom clamp & use the GSX1400 steering head bearings.
This top clamp accepts the OEM GSX1400 gauges & ignition barrel & can be supplied with either regular 7/8 or Fat bar 1 1/8 risers.
You can add our spacer kit option to allow the use of your GSX1400 wheel & discs with your hayabusa front end.
Supplied either in a Raw machined aluminium finish or Black anodised
**We also have a bottom clamp conversion option available which includes modifying your Hayabusa bottom clamp steering stops to work with the GSX1400 frame stops & pressing the GSX1400 stem into your Hayabusa bottom clamp , PLEASE NOTE : you will need to send us both your GSX1400 & Hayabusa bottom clamps at your own cost for this option (or at least the GSX1400 stem & Hayabusa bottom clamp)**
What else is required for the conversion.
Hayabusa forks (any model although we recommend 2008 & later, Gen 2 forks) including a bottom triple clamp, brakes, front axle & axle nut.
Headlight mounts will need to be replaced with fork mounted style clamps. We've added an option for this kit also.
You will also need a front guard as the GSX1400 one won't fit, either the Hayabusa or a K5-K8 GSXR1000 guard work well.
Longer front brakelines to suit the Hayabusa front end may also be required. We can supply Hel Brakelines in whatever colour you want, look on the Hel brakelines page linked at the bottom of the page.
