The linkage allows for range of -35mm(-1 1/2"), -25mm(-1") & +25mm (+1") rear ride height, making the MT-07 (FZ-07) learner legal bike ride height lower as some shorter riders require or higher for those taller people or people wanting a more agressive "stance".
By combining these plates with pushing the forks up through the clamps a bit, the ride height of the MT-07 (FZ-07) & XSR700 can be lowered dramatically, making it easy for shorter people to ride.
The MT-07 (FZ-07) linkage is more involved to make than the MT-09 (FZ-09) so it is a little more expensive. It accepts OEM bearings & seals. It’s a 2 piece design that twists & locks together to keep water from getting into the back side of the bearings.
*we also have the option of a new set of bearings & seals pre-fitted to the linkage to make an even easier fitment for you*
